It's all about the keeper...

"My son has had two 1:1 training sessions with Callum and I just wanted to put on record how impressed I was with the sessions. The Coaching was well prepared and very thorough with a pre coaching document. My son enjoyed the session and got a lot out of it.

I was pleasantly surprised to find video being taken so we could review the learning points (we've not had that before with other 1:1 providers). Also impressed by the follow up document we received highlighting the points learned, strengths & weaknesses, skills to work on that type of thing. Again we've not had that before from other providers.

In short, professional, good value for money and very worth while. We shall certainly be doing more 1:1 sessions with Callum."

Armen Lloyd, Parent of U13 Goalkeeper

"Callum was always motivated to develop players within his sessions and continuously looked improve himself as a coach to enhance the experience of players that came under his tuition.

He is organised in his planning and evaluating of sessions and punctual at meeting deadlines. "

Jason Curtis, Player Development Centre Manager, Peterborough Utd FC

"His communication skills are of a high standard with the players and coaches. Callum was well respected by all during his time here. He had great ideas to improve the player's technically and their fundamental skills. Throughout these sessions he demonstrated good organisation skills, initiative and creativity.

I believe that Callum Green is an intelligent, talented and trustworthy young man."

Szabo Gyorgy, Academy Manager, FC Ujpest

"Callum Green was my coach during my spell at Peterborough United during my U15's season, and I have to be honest I owe him a lot as I believe it is down to his motivation, support and great quality coaching that I managed to get into AFC Sudbury's Academy.

His coaching has to be the best I've experienced as he's extremely professional, he's great with experienced Goalkeepers like myself and with younger Goalkeepers who are just starting out.

I would recommend Callum without question as I know he can pass on his knowledge and make many other Goalkeeper's dreams come true as he did for me."

Aaron Bean,

Former Peterborough United GK & Current AFC Sudbury Academy and Reserves GK.

"My son Will (school year 8) has played for a Football League Division One side; Championship side and is currently playing for a Premier League club (development centre).  He has also trained with a well-known private international GK academy.

Callum scouted Will when he was Head GK Coach at Peterborough United FC - PDC (Suffolk).  We think Callum is the best GK coach Will has ever had.  From our experience a lot of GK coaches design sessions to make it easy for them to manage the numbers of students they have rather than focusing on what an individual GK’s needs are.

Callum set up a comprehensive programme covering all aspects of goalkeeping not just focusing on shot stopping.  The syllabus included: Positioning, set position for hands and feet, dealing with one on ones, dealing with crosses, distribution from gloves, and distribution from goal kicks, volleys, half volleys, and sidewinder kicks etc.  Callum kept the groups small so was able to give Will lots of individual help on his technique.

Callum is fantastic with the students and has a great sense of humour. There was always an element of fun in his sessions so the students never knew they were working so hard!  Will has really benefited from Callum’s help not only getting into Premier League club PDC but also making his high school first team against stiff competition.  We would thoroughly recommend Callum as a GK coach."

Jonathan Carlyon,

Parent of former U11 Peterborough United GK.

"I have known Callum for the last 4 years on both a personal and professional level. As a Goalkeeper at Peterborough United, Callum's sessions were very organised, effective and motivational. He made us strive to be the best we could ever be.

On a personal level I have found Callum to be kind, considerate and to have a great sense of humour. He has been a fantastic role model."

Ceiran Beaumont

Former Peterborough United Goalkeeper

"My son Dexter of 11 years old, has been a goalie since he was 6 playing in the local leagues as well as for Peterborough PDC for 2 years and Ipswich Town APC/PDC for this season and last. He is a great little keeper as most parents and opposition coaches like to tell him. Dexter benefited from enjoying his time with his coach Callum Green at Peterborough. Callum had a great relationship with all his boys and had the ability to hold the boys concentration and attention during the sessions mixing some fun into great development sessions. Dexter was always able to approach Callum if he felt he needed to improve in an area that worried him.

I felt that his sessions were well structured and planned well to make sure he got the best out of the boys each week. I also felt he was an approachable coach as a parent to ask advice for Dexter. I felt the reports that Callum produced at the end of each term were a great tool to show me and Dexter how he was developing.

Dexter was genuinely disappointed to lose Callum as a coach and when he moved on we wished him luck and success and moved on ourselves to Ipswich Town. Dexter had developed enough to feel confident enough to go to a trial to get a place at Ipswich’s APC/PDC and I accrue this to the development he received from Callum.

To sum him up I’d say Fun, organised and committed to development.

Dexter would say “he’s awesome dad I had fun with him”."
